He was a 50th birthday present from a very dear friend.
Why “Dutch”?
Well, I always thought that if I ever had a dog, his name should be Dutch…because I’m Dutch, from Amsterdam. It’s a great dog name.
What’s the best thing about having your pooch?
Although I am teaching him things, he’s teaching me as well. And of course, the wagging tail when I come home.
What’s his personality like?
He’s a little wise guy—he has this wise-beyond-his-years look in his eyes. Sometimes I think there’s a little human inside of him…
Does Dutch have a splurge food?
Freeze-dried liver treats.
